       Poverty is a big problem in America, Maryland and in my community. I would focus on my community and slowly expand so that I can start small and improve. Poverty exists in Cockeysville and even inmy school.

     I would help people by raising money so I could give them basic needs. This might be food, clothes, shelter ect. I would try to get publicity for it so more people can donate to the cause.

     I want to help people in poverty because I know that they don't have basic needs that we sometimes take for granted. We all think we need ipods, cell phones or computers, but we really never think about people who struggle to get food. This way I can sort of give back to the people in need.
